Kids Strength Camp follows the ethos of all of our other sessions, but is specially designed for younger children.
We lead the children through a programme of physical activity which supports them to increase strength, fitness and confidence, but most of all they have loads of fun!
They also get to lift (very light) weights, with the aim of building core strength and functional fitness.
The Sessions are an hour, with a fifteen/twenty minute break in the middle where we use interactive approaches to support the young people to talk about different things that help build their confidence and relationships with each other. This covers things like:
- feelings and emotions - family - friendship -being healthy -recognising their strengths
The gym space is friendly and intimate and the sessions are inclusive and supportive. We have created a space where all young people, no matter what their fitness levels, can feel comfortable and safe.
